Medications and dosing vocabulary: English to Spanish
Dose, route and frequency are the units a grader never forgives. Twice a day is not three times a day, and ten milligrams is not one hundred. This module covers drug classes and common names, how to say every route and schedule, and the side-effect vocabulary of discharge instructions.
Source codes: MLP is MedlinePlus, NCI the National Cancer Institute dictionary, CDC and FDA their Spanish-language pages, HHS the HealthCare.gov glossary. CF means CourtFluent wrote the rendition and reviewed it; it is not from an official source, so prefer an official rendition when one is shown. A rendition shown with an official source is the safer choice on an exam.
